JoyStick to Midi
A standalone Max device that allows for easy conversion of a Logitech Extreme 3D flight joystick inputs into MIDI
Select controller with top drop down, set midiout device by double clicking on “midiout.” To use this program properly you will need a midi loop back system either internally or hardwire through your audio interface.
Each joystick axis can be toggled into X/Y or Cardinal control. X/Y resting values are 63 while Cardinal is 0. Each axis control has its own range slider respectively. For midi mapping nibs, press the respective button in its info box to only trigger that CC value.
Raw midi info can be copied or edited using MIDI INFO.

Ableton Hero
This Max4Live device is my attempt of recreating Guitar Hero, but in Ableton Live. The premise is simple with a midi clip triggering notes 1/2 a bar in advance of when the user is to play the note. 5 Levels of difficulty changes the lockout time from a note hit . Optional fail mode to trigger a tape stop effect if lots of notes are missed. Easily create and iterate charts using midi clips.
