Skew Sound Audio Test
Using a limited library provided for this test, I sculpted 3 unique designs for the provided videos. All sounds are resampled or synthesized using various techniques using exclusively stock plugins provided with Ableton Live.
Apex Legends: Ash (Sound Re-design)
Testing my abilities in crafting crisp but also heavily synthesized ang organic sounds together. Using lots of phasing to create subtle but powerful frequency attenuations that build and collapse with the energy of Ash’s different abilities.
Noisia - Exodus (Sound Redesign)
I wanted to try out designing some heavy robot sounds and some big explosions. Utilizing S-Layer, I created lots of similar but unique sounds to help keep things consistent but also add variety through out the piece.
Link VS Pit (Sound Redesign)
Was never a huge Legend of Zelda fan growing up but once I saw this fight scene I knew I had to redesign it. Trying to see how quickly I could get an edit and rough mix the sound effects, the end product turned out pretty good. My favorite sequence is the grabbling hook shooting out and grabbing onto Pit.
Rocket League Goal Explosions Re-Designs
13 different takes on goal explosion effects from Rocket League. Tried to keep some within the same stylization in game and others in a completely new direction.
Doing these re-designs has help me in learning how to deconstruct others sounds and trying to rebuild them with the same kind of energy and timbre while also providing my own unique stylization.
OKOA
Okoa is a third person platformer where you help Kubwa the Elephant and Roho the panther escape from the poachers cages.
This project was a post graduation contract with VFS. Music, SFX, and Implementation by me. Dialogue, Ambience, and additional SFX by Aidan Lytton.

Lil Darkie - AMV SFX Redesign
After watching this video once, I knew I had to add sound effects to the action on screen. Using only 6db of headroom, I tried to balance energy with detail to add the extra touch that makes the visuals and music really come together.
Kerbal Space Program 2
My final piece from my year at Vancouver Film School. Originally a fan made trailer from 2012, Private Division recreated the video for the announcement of Kerbal Space Program 2. I wanted to keep the same feeling of a music montage but also bring a new world of sound to the Kerbal universe. When anybody watches a rocket launch in person, the thing that sticks around with them the most is the overall pressure of the sound (if you can even call it sound at that point). My main goal was to try to replicate the sheer power and energy that these machines have.
My second goal was to try to tell the story of space exploration. Starting off with a Sputnik beep and transitioning into Apollo era thrusters before making its way to the present with beautiful SLS booster recordings from NASA. The 2nd half of the video, I tried to imagine my own world of futuristic space flight while keeping within somewhat standardized tropes that is SCI-FI. Using a combination of granulated metal recordings and heavy FM synthesis, I achieved some interesting textures and unique designs.

Teriyaki Shop
June 2017. Olympia. 6 Tracks.
Teriyaki Shop is a project I made while at Evergreen State College. I found my experiences that I had there drove me to get my frustration out. The two ways I did that was by making this project and going and getting Teriyaki, hence Teriyaki Shop.
